One thing about this project was, to give Chang Heng´s seismograph again a shape, the other thing was to implement it´s original function: Indicating earthquakes and judge their directions.

So, that for a CGI script is catching near-realtime-earthquake-data from the United States Geological Survey, Geologic Division - USGS, in the internet, from their earthquake information pages. After that, if relevant data (not older than 15 minutes) is recieved, a script within the vrml-file is triggering ´quake-action´ on the model....
